We supply all your fishing tackle, lures or flies needed for the trip. Our fishing tackle is some of the finest made and we pride ourselves on what you will be fishing with. You are welcome to bring you own tackle but please let us know what you are planning on bringing. 

Spec Fever is USCG, NCDMF and NC Wildlife licensed and insured.  Everyone fishing on our boat is covered by our blanket saltwater fishing license. You may be required to purchase a NC fresh water (inland license) and will be told to do so if you need it for your trip. They can be purchased online click here Freshwater licenses are a common requirement for fall, winter and spring charters. 

 A jacket and/or rain gear, sunscreen, hat and polarized sunglasses are always a good idea.

Bottled water, ice and a cooler will be on the boat for your use. Please bring along any other beverage you’d like for the day.  North Carolina requires anyone younger than 13 to wear an appropriate life vest when on a recreational vessel that is underway. 

Deposits

  • A $300 per boat per day deposit must be paid to secure reservation. 
  • Reservations not secured by deposits are subject to cancellation without notice.
  • Deposits are refundable if cancelled greater than 30 days from the start date of the trip.
  • 100% refunds for weather cancellations.  Weather cancellations are determined by the captain.
  • We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express & PayPal
