The Neuse River and Pamlico Sound constitute a diverse and extensive ecosystem with more than 9000 miles of shoreline. The village of Oriental serves as the portal to the lower Neuse and Southern Pamlico Sound, making it an ideal launch point for fishing charters. The Neuse is potentially North Carolina's premier inshore fishery offering our inshore fishing charters opportunities to fish for redfish, speckled trout, bluefish, flounder, black drum, weakfish, Spanish Mackerel and well a few surprises from time to time. The area is also known for world-class redfishing and producing trophy redfish over 50 inches and very large tarpon. Please check out our trophy redfish and tarpon pages for more details on those fisheries.
