Capt. Gary has appeared on more than 20 TV shows, in numerous magazines, in several books and has spoken to anglers in the US and Cananda. He has the pleasure to work with some of the finest tackle companies on the planet. His fishing experiences have taken him across the US, Canada, the Caribbean and in Europe. Captain Gary is an IGFA Fly Rod World Record Holder and is the guide that changed the Pamlico Sound trophy redfishery from a nighttime bait fishery to a daytime artificial lure fishery. He is the inventor of the Pop-N-Fly; a fly-fishing tool technique that has changed trophy redfishing in NC.
Captain Mitchell Blake has decades of experience on eastern North Carolina waters. With a background in Fish and Wildlife Management and a passion to put anglers on fish, Capt. Mitchell Blake strives to create a platform to combine the art and science of fishing!
Capt. Mitch has been featured on television programs such as Carolina Outdoor Journal, Down East Outdoors and Point Click Fish. Other media coverage and public events include Fishermans Post Fishing Schools, The Saltwater Sportsman National Seminar Series, Guest Presenter at the Raleigh Bass and Saltwater Fishing Expo, NC Sportsman Mag., weekly fishing reports for Fishermans Post Mag., Cape Lookout Fly Fishers Casting Instructor among many other events that highlight our sport.
